Personally, I listen to a ton of podcasts. They are easy to put on my iPhone podcast app and listen while I'm cleaning, researching, or driving. If you have any additional recommendations for resources, please feel free to email me at info@thepoliticalmillennial.com.

Resources

News Sources

  • California Globe - Good information with focus on California.
  • RedState - National, conservative look at current news.
  • Daily Wire- National, conservative look at current news.
  • CalMatters - Great information about California, with a left leaning view.
  • Craig Huey - Articles about current events, in addition to the voter guide.

Podcasts

These are my favorite podcasts for staying up-to-date:

  • Dan Bongino. He is ex Secret Service, former NYPD officer, and now a conservative commentator. His podcast covers trending topics with a conservative view.
  • Mark Levin. He is a constitutional lawyer, author, and radio/show host. His radio show turned podcast is an excellent source for not only current events, but a historical view on America.
  • Candace Owens. She is one of the most principled fighters as a part of the "new conservatives" (my term). Her podcast provides interviews, discussing a variety of currently trending topics. Her show is a part of PragerU.
  • Rubin Report. Dave Rubin is an awesome commentator whose story starts with a "walk away" moment. His podcast is a mix of interviews and Q&A.
  • John and Ken.(Listen at your own risk.) This podcast doesn't hold back on their viewpoints. Recommended for local politics (Southern California).
  • Ben Shapiro. Covers daily trending topics. A great place to start when diving in to politics.
  • Verdict with Ted Cruz. This podcast features Senator Ted Cruz from Texas and he discusses current event.

YouTube Channels

  • Louder with Crowder (Steven Crowder)
  • Dan Bongino (podcast or YouTube)
  • Conservative Twins
  • The Chad Prather Show
  • Mark Dice

Webpages

  • PragerU. Their website offers a ton of information. I recommend starting with their "5 Minute Videos" under the Watch tab.
  • CAGOP Platform. This is quite the read, but it is important. The CAGOP platform demonstrates what key issues Republicans are focusing on in California.
